Black Star: A Mos Def Solo LP

Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are: Black Star was released in September on 1998 to critical acclaim. It is no doubt a classic album and very important to the independent hip-hop scene of the time. I wore the tape out and my vinyl sounds terrible now. However… in similar fashion to The Fugees “The Score” there’s someone on the record just not cutting the mustard. So I gave this album a similar treatment to the latter.
